Peter Hirshberg
CEO & Co-Founder
Peter has served as an innovation advisor to cities and companies. He has created two centers of urban innovation from scratch: Maker City Project and Gray Area Foundation for the Arts.
He¡¯s a founder of the Maker City¢ç Project, the national organization tasked with helping cities and towns discover and experiment with new forms of civic engagement and economic development.
Most recently, he served as an advisor to TransLOC in its sale to Ford Motor Company. He has served as CEO of Elemental Software (sold to Adobe), Gloss.com (Estee Lauder).
During a nine-year tenure at Apple Computer, Hirshberg headed Enterprise Marketing, where he grew Apple's large business and government revenue to $1 billion annually.
His board and advisor positions have included Active Video Networks, Technorati, Build Public, The Computer History Museum, & Gray Area Foundation for the Arts. He is a Senior Fellow at the USC Annenberg Center on Communication Leadership and Policy and a Henry Crown fellow of the Aspen Institute.
Marcia Kadanoff
President | COO & Co-Founder
Marcia Kadanoff is a startup entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience. Previously, she served as CEO and Co-Founder of the Maker City Project, a social-impact consultancy creating new forms of civic innovation and economic opportunities within cities. As part of this work, she wrote the best selling book entitled: Maker City: A Practical Guide to Reinventing American Cities (2017).
Kadanoff has served as CEO and CMO to venture-backed startups, and founded, ran, and sold two successful marketing agencies: Open Marketing (content marketing) and Miller/Kadanoff (direct and interactive marketing). As part of her agency work, she built and optimized large content sites for Cisco and Knight Ridder, created the first ever internet advertising campaigns for Blue Shields and Wells Fargo Bank, built out email subscriber lists for Microsoft, and put in place technology infrastructure for startups and established businesses alike.
The early days of her career were spent at The Clorox Company and Apple Computer. Kadanoff serves on the board of SFCamerawork and About-Face and is a former member of the leadership of the Committee of 200.

Christopher Petzel
Chief Investment Officer
Prior to Lighthouse.one Christopher was the CEO of Fierce Entertainment, LLC, a production and distribution company, where he produced, executive produced or associate produced a number of theatrical features. He has broad corporate finance experience and has served as an expert witness in matters pertaining to media financing and the international accounting and taxation of entertainment assets.
Before starting Fierce Entertainment, LLC in 2001, Christopher worked for investment banking firm Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin in Los Angeles in their entertainment group where his clients included DreamWorks, Pacific Data Images (now DreamWorks Animation), Centropolis Effects, GRB Entertainment, Sundance Productions, Constantin Film AG, VCL Film + Medien AG, Castle Music and Bob Cooper¡¯s Landscape Entertainment. In 1999, he was one of the principal members of the team representing The Walt Disney Company in valuation matters pertaining to a much publicized arbitration with Jeffrey Katzenberg.
Christopher has lectured extensively on film production and financing at several institutions, including the American Film Institute, University of Southern California, and the University of Berlin. He studied business administration at the Universities of Barcelona(Spain) and Fribourg (Switzerland), where he graduated summa cum laude, ranking first in a class of over 400. He is fluent in German, English, French and Spanish.

Barry Watkins
VP of Business Operations
Barry Watkins is a passionate Product and Operational leader working with startups and growing businesses to improve process, build successful culture & community, manage worldwide distributed teams, as well as provide strategic and logistical support for worldwide events.
A dynamic team builder with excellent communication and mentoring skills, Barry knows how to inspire productivity, encourage creativity, and foster good morale within teams while delivering amazing user experiences for clients and customers.
Throughout his career, Barry has helped the launch and growth of several successful startups in multiple different industries including Blockchain, Mobile, Social Media, Ad-Tech, VR/AR, SaaS, Direct Sales, and Fintech.
In addition to being a product team leader, Barry works with the Los Angeles Fire Department's Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) providing emergency support services, search & rescue, and volunteer coordination during times of crises including recent Southern California wildfires.

Omeed Manocheri
Marketing & Business Operations
Omeed comes to Lighthouse from Maker City, where he was responsible for visual story telling. He has a degree from the Academy of Art San Francisco and is a skilled videographer and photographer. In his spare time, he serves as a program producer for the San Francisco Urban Film Festival and works to improve economic opportunity for people in the Tenderloin district of San Francisco.
